Who we are

Life Adviser is a trading style of PJG Financial Limited, a company registered in Scotland under company number SC535782. Our registered office is 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh EH2 4AN.

PJG Financial Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under firm reference number 919697, and is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZB537016.

Life Adviser is an introducer, not an insurer. We do not give advice and we do not arrange insurance policies.

Our service

Our website gives general information about life insurance and protection. You can send us an enquiry online or call us. Life Adviser does not itself compare or recommend insurance policies. We may introduce you to one FCA-authorised adviser firm, or one of its appointed representatives. That firm can compare life insurance products and quotes from the insurers available to it and provide any advice or arrange any cover. The range of insurers considered depends on the adviser firm’s panel and may not include the whole market.

If we introduce you to an adviser firm, that firm pays us a fee for the introduction. This costs you nothing extra.

Any quote, policy offer, premium, level of cover or acceptance decision is subject to eligibility, underwriting and insurer terms. We do not guarantee that you will be accepted for cover, or that any particular insurer will offer you a policy.

Advice and information

The information on our website is general information only and does not take account of your full personal circumstances.

Life Adviser does not give personal advice or recommendations. If we introduce you to an adviser firm, any advice comes from that firm, not from us.

Your responsibilities

• You agree that any information you give us is accurate, complete and up to date. False or misleading information may affect the outcome of your enquiry.
• You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes.
• You agree not to misuse the website or attempt to disrupt the service.

Quotes, policies and acceptance

We do not guarantee that you will receive a quote or be accepted for any product. Acceptance, pricing and cover decisions are made by the insurer.

The terms of any policy you take out, including cancellation rights and any cooling off period, are set out in the documentation provided by the insurer or adviser arranging your cover. Please read that documentation carefully.

Adviser firms

If we introduce you to an adviser firm, it will be one FCA-authorised firm or one of its appointed representatives. That firm will tell you who it is when it contacts you. Our privacy policy explains what we share with it.

Any firm you deal with is responsible for its own services, products and decisions. We are not responsible for their actions, products or services.

Your information and privacy

How we collect, use and protect your personal information is set out in our privacy policy. PJG Financial Limited is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZB537016.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, design, logos and graphics, is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce or use any of it without our permission.

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections given to you by the law of the country where you live, and you may be able to bring a claim in the courts there. Otherwise, the courts of Scotland have jurisdiction.
